BE WILLING TO SEE
A man gets up in the morning and he does things that he deems needs to be done in the order of his idea of their importance to him; and this, day after day, I judge no man by any one particular day, or week, or month, but watch the pattern which is set up by the ordering of importance of each of his inward loves. He actually acts out the path and direction of his journeying, and this he cannot help but do, for his acting out which is but acting for the sake of appearance can go but for a short while, then he returns to the pattern of his real loves' direction again. That is why company visiting becomes tiresome, for while they are there ye must "act" and cannot relax and let the "real you" show. You become desirous to quit the acting of more respectability for the sake of show and wish it to stop. Acting takes much effort, as does remaining hidden within... And so does man show his real Self in a pattern day after day when allowed to just be himself. Thus do man's pretended resolutions fail him time after time. For he is but what he is in his heart, and whereas there is little or no desire for Me, he comes but little and sporadically to Me; mainly doing so only in his importunity and need, and not to just worship nor to share his love with Me. Am I therefore despised by such an one? That which is esteemed as little is visited little, it is acknowledged little. It is thought of little.
Mary Magdalene was forgiven of much because she loved much, being grateful that she found forgiveness that much. Need I say more? Then regard the Pharisee's and the publican's prayer (Luke 18) and examine the love of the one and the esteem for self in the one, over against the love and esteem of Me and of himself that the other had. Now consider thy own in true honesty within and you will see your own condition, all ye sons and daughters of men.
I need not reveal more from there, for then I must review your heart attitude and say against you, "Go thy way; by thy walk I will know your decision, whether FOR Me or AGAINST Me, or in other words, FOR yourself." And grant Me then the time to prove My own words out to you experientially. For the one who wants to see the truth of themselves desires true exposure and change to come. And they will mourn and grieve for their condition and will attempt to right their course. And according to their desire, so shall the length of their course in that change be. But those that close their eyes to their true condition like themselves find - that outward whitewashing of the sepulcher - and desire no change within.
I the Lord watch all these things day after day with man, each one individually; the just and the unjust, and by these things I judge a man's heart and his loves. And he can too if he but cares to see and wills to know it. In other words, I judge by their fruit. Beyond this is the point of KNOW RETURN. "Selah" means: Think Carefully about it.
